2015 American Heart Association Johnson County Heart Walk

Warrensburg, Missouri • October 3, 2015

Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation staff shows its support of the American Heart Association's F.A.S.T. stroke awareness initiative.

Our staff showing support for the American Heart Association's F.A.S.T. method of spotting a stroke: [F]ace drooping, [A]rm weakness, [S]peech difficulty, [T]ime to call 911!

The annual Johnson County Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s mission in action. The annual event promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment.

Over 175 attendees made their footsteps heard and walked in honor of late loved ones or those currently battling heart disease. Our foundation was a sponsor of this year’s F.A.S.T. stroke initiative, helping increase public awareness as to the warning signs of a stroke and how to best take preventative action against strokes. We look forward to next year’s Johnson County Heart Walk as walkers continue to walk with passion, pride, and purpose!
